WORKSHOPS

Rewiring Your Stress Response.

A small-group coaching experience to rewire stress patterns shaped by discrimination.

I’m excited to open interest for a new small-group workshop that will change your habitual response to discrimination, and the pain and stress it causes.

Discrimination is a major source of depression, anxiety and PTSD.

How much of your chronic stress is related to mistreatment on the basis of your identity characteristics (e.g. race/ethnicity, gender, disability, or sexuality)?

What is your current response to the stress of discrimination?

Does the pain, fear, or worry over racism, sexism, or other forms of bigotry prevent you from doing things you might enjoy, or even from pursuing your goals?

Do you experience shame because of your size? Have you internalized this stigma? Do you find yourself inadvertently body shaming others?

If you are like most people, you have been living with the stress of discrimination for years without any real tools for self-healing.

In this workshop, we’ll use evidence-based tools to shift how chronic, discrimination-related stress impacts your life—grounded in my training as a medical sociologist and certified coach in multiple healing modalities.

You’ll learn practices that create immediate calm and fundamentally rewire your real-time responses to stress.

These scientifically-validated techniques stand strong on their own and are fully compatible with, and can even enhance, the benefits of psychotherapy.

Ending the power of discrimination begins within each of us.

Looking forward to having you join me,
